    Your daily responsibilities include

    • Responsible for developing and creating learning solutions for multiple delivery methods including, but not limited to, instructor-led, web-based, virtual classroom, and blended instruction.
    • Analyzes learning and development needs for the Company.
    • Creates engaging and effective training content according to appropriate needs.
    • Evaluates learning programs for adult learners.
    • Gives feedback to facilitators on delivery of learning programs.
    • Responsible for planning of implementing learning programs including the creation of all materials needed to deliver learning effectively.
    • Develops materials to support existing and new programs.
    • Assists with loading, creating, and retiring courses in the Company’s LMS.
    • Defines and reviews training programs and processes and recommends improvements as needed.
    • Partners with LMS Administrator to develop training measurement and reporting solution strategies to ensure compliance.
    • Manages external vendors, suppliers, and internal business partners to accomplish proposed training solutions.
    • Assists with the development of training plans and solutions according to business needs.
    • Assists with facilitating training as needed with all methods of delivery.
    • Provides input for the preparation and distribution training documents and/or videos.
    • Assists with special projects as needed.
    • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. 
    • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
    • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university in Training/Learning & Development, Organizational Development, Instructional Design or Human Resources or at least five years’ related experience in Human Resources with emphasis in Learning & Development; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience developing training content for a large organization highly preferred.
    • Must have strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written).
    • Must have understanding of adult learning theories and evaluation methods.
    • Must have working knowledge of learning and development trends and compliance requirements as they relate to state and federal laws and the gaming industry.
    • Must have excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
    • Must be able to follow standard procedures and understand impact of learning and development as it relates to HR policies and Team Members.
    • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
    • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
    • Must have demonstrated knowledge of state, local and federal labor laws and regulations related to HR.
    • Must be detailed oriented and have excellent organization skills.
    • Must have the ability to be proactive when working on tasks and escalate priority work as needed.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality. 
    • Must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Must have technical and working knowledge in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Experience in UltiPro highly preferred.
