Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience is required.
A successful candidate in this position must have a broad technical background in all aspects of network and desktop computing with over 8 years of IT experience and a minimum of three years supervisory management experience.
A successful candidate must have a proven track record of leading numerous projects simultaneously, establishing effective priorities among competing requirements and meeting deadlines while demonstrating a successful hands-on approach to overseeing all assigned projects.
Must possess strong administrative, analytical, time management and decision-making skills.
A successful candidate must have a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are required. This position interfaces with all departments, IT staff and outside vendors. Must have experience working directly with customers in understanding business needs.
Demonstrated ability to attract, retain, motivate and lead a team of skilled IT professionals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
