    An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

    Your daily responsibilities include

    • Provide direct and general supervision to slot technical staff in order to ensure the effective and efficient operation and placement of electronic gaming devices.
    • Deliver internal and external Red Carpet Customer Service
      Oversee scheduling, training, development, motivation and supervision of slot technical personnel. Recommend and approve wage increases, promotions, evaluation ratings and other employment actions.
    • Staff, schedule, evaluate, train, develop, monitor and lead subordinate personnel in such a manner to maintain a positive employee relations culture. Recommend wage increases, promotions, demotions, discipline and other employment actions for staff.
    • Maintain, through supervision and direct observation, a continuous awareness of all gaming devices and gaming areas. Respond appropriately to any deficiencies or technical service needs.
    • Review, analyze and monitor slot reports including hold percentage fluctuations and make recommendations in effort to run an efficient and profitable electronic gaming device operation.
    • Ensure proper placement and installation of all electronic gaming devices; merchandise electronic gaming devices based on slot performance reports.
    • Develop and implement department management plans including budgets, labor schedules and systems of accountability.
    • Develop and implement policies, procedures and rules including operations manuals, to promote compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
    • Prepare operating budgets, monitor budgetary compliance and take action on budget variance item.
    • Analyze game performance trends and related industry data to detect adverse results
    • Ensure that the integrity and confidentiality necessary in the department is maintained according to the Missouri Gaming Commission rules and regulations, company and departmental policies and procedures.
    • Ensure that all proper procedures for Games Department are correctly implemented and maintained, i.e., fills, credits, transfers, pit boxes, drops, etc.
    • Provide comprehensive training concerning the Missouri Gaming Commission rules and regulations and internal controls; ensure table games staff is trained on and complies with internal control procedures as they apply to table games
    • Ensure slot technical staff is trained on and complies with internal control procedures as they apply to machine removal, installation, maintenance and key control.
    • Prepares operating budgets, monitors budgetary compliance and takes action on budget variance items.
    • Directs routine and preventative maintenance, cleaning and inspection of video, electronic gaming devices, electronic boards and the on-line electronic gaming device system along with any other casino equipment.
    • Ensure timely installation and repair of slot machines or any other casino equipment in coordination with slot repair operations; coordinate and implement slot machine placement changes or slot floor moves.
    • Analyze slot performance trends and related industry data to detect adverse results; provides early identification and performance and service problems.
    • Continually assess technological advances, both internal and external, to the business environment for opportunities that will enhance the guest experience.
    • Ensure adequate inventory of all necessary parts and tool inventories.

    Promote a safe and secure working environment

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in electronic engineering from an accredited four-year college or university
    • Five plus years of progressive experience and responsibility in gaming operations
    • Two plus years experience managing a slot technical staff, or an equivalent combination of training
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)
    • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Missouri state gaming license
    • Demonstrated slot technical and management experience.
    • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret slot floor plans and wiring diagrams.
    • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces
