    Your daily responsibilities include

    Maintains company records and executes policies determined by or in conjunction with other officials by performing the following duties.

     

    The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary

    • Develops procedures and policies for office activities.
    • Schedule interview and appointments.
    • Screens incoming calls and correspondence and responds independently when possible.
    • Experience and knowledge of computers and software.
    • Creates and maintains spreadsheets, files, word processing, faxes, and mail distribution.
    • Maintain employee files
    • Receptionist duties.
    • Payroll and attendance.
    • Receiving and dispersing work orders.
    • Responsible for daily filing and maintenance of up to date files.
    • Copies data and compiles records and reports.
    • Maintain inventory of office supplies and places orders as needed.

    • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or clerical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This job has not supervisory responsibilities.

     

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

     

    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

    No mathematical skills are associated with this position.

     

    REASONING ABILITY

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

     

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

    Must be eligible for licensing with the West Virginia Racing Commission.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to mechanical parts.  The employee is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock.  The employee is occasionally exposed to humid conditions; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.  The noise level in the environment is usually loud.
