    Your daily responsibilities include

    • Overall integrity of daily operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory, internal control and policies and procedures.
    • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / GM.
    • Supervise and maintain the inventory of parts necessary for the repair and maintenance of all electronic games.
    • Ensure all policies, procedures and practices are consistently followed and comply with the company’s service standards, brand attributes, policies, collective bargaining agreements and regulatory requirements.
    • Assist Management team in all phases of planning for the movement and conversions of VLT machines, including completion of required documentation and submissions.
    • Understands department objectives, standards, guidelines, and budget to achieve effective supervision of department.
    • Maintains a full working knowledge of VLT Technician duties.
    • Schedules and monitors preventative maintenance of VLT Machines.
    • Promoting a fun and exciting environment with a positive and upbeat attitude
    • Assists in hiring and training, and responsible for motivating, evaluating, and supervising staff on all shifts to ensure employees receive adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established objectives.
    • Provide positive communication using Marquee Customer Service skills with every guest and team member.
    • Assist guests with questions and issues regarding VLT machines.
    • Establishes and maintains training and development procedures to ensure superior customer service standards are achieved.
    • Issues shift assignments for all VLT Technicians.
    • Ensures all assignments are completed within the expected timeframe.
    • Maintaining communication between departments, promoting guidance for teamwork, encouraging team member ideas and feedback, and mentoring and instructing VLT technicians.
    • Coordinating and modifying departmental work flow to meet business demands and ensure guest satisfaction
    • Responsible for the timely evaluation of all direct reports and conducting introductory period and annual performance reviews.
    • Maintains an open-door policy and addresses all team member issues and/or concerns in a timely manner.
    • Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards.
    • Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events.
    • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    • Must be a minimum 21 years of age.
    • Associates degree (A.A) from technical school; or one to two years in Slot management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word) and have knowledge of VLT operating systems.
    • Electronic/mechanical troubleshooting and use of electronic test equipment experience required (ex: board testers, multi-meters, o-scopes).
    • Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions in stressful situations with team members, guests and vendors.
    • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift and mobility to move easily around entire property.
    • Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.
    • Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds and air quality.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to write reports. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
    • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and percentages. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
    • Possess ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.
    • Should be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
    • Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
    • Must successfully complete TIPS and Title 31 training.
    • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 100 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
    • Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
    • The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
    • Employee could be exposed to an environment containing unrestricted second-hand tobacco smoke.
