    An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

    Your daily responsibilities include

    • Maintains operation status of all cameras and monitors including multi-plexers, quads, splitters, switchers, CPU alarm interfaces and other related equipment
    • Establishes and maintains relationships with outside vendors for the cataloging of all equipment that needs outside servicing and communication
    • Maintains and programs the operating functions of the surveillance and security system matrix (the physical equipment that controls the interface and operation of the various individual pieces) 
    • Cooperates with management in the suggestion, design and installation of all projects (hardware) as required by business needs including but not limited to games, slots, food & beverage, security, investigations and state mandates
    • Keeps abreast of state gaming rules and regulations and the company’s written System of Internal Controls regarding the performance of the surveillance department
    • Stays current on industry trends and technological advances that may affect present system, department and company needs

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university preferred
    • Three years experience within this technical field.  This knowledge and these abilities are typically acquired through the education in technical schools, on the job experience in surveillance
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)
    • Ability to be contacted after hours or need to be available on an on call status and be able to respond quickly during emergency situations
    • Ability to communicate effectively, in both verbal and written form, with customers, outside contacts, and all levels of employees
    • Ability to read and write accurate and factual reports and support documents
    • Ability to lift, push, and pull cables and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs and effectively and efficiently move around work areas
    • Must be able to work with various tools used in the electronic, cctv, computer and electrical/mechanical fields including but limited to working on ladders, lifts and in crawl spaces 
    • Knowledge and understanding of electronic, video, and alarm functions
    • Knowledge and understanding of computers, report writing and document management
    • Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to read and write concise and factual reports
    • Understanding of property and department policies and procedures
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all facets of work environment
