    An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

    Your daily responsibilities include

    • To be considered for Dealer School Candidates Must:

      • Candidates must pass an HR Interview and Department Interview
      • Candidates understand they attend this Dealer School on their own time and are not an employee of Hollywood Casino Aurora.
      • Dealer School is free to attend if selected after completing all the necessary interviews and test. Candidates do not receive pay during the training because they are not employees of Hollywood Casino Aurora.
      • Dealer School begins Monday, June 4th and is 6 weeks long.  Class will be held on the following days and times:
        • Monday-Thursday from 4:30pm-8:30pm
        • No class on July 4th
      • Dealer School will only be able to have a maximum of 15 candidates attend during the 6 week training period.
    • Demonstrating outstanding internal and external service in accordance with “Red Carpet Service” program guidelines
    • Adhering to all established game procedures, including:
      • Use of gaming equipment
      • Providing game security
      • Money handling
      • Wager positioning
      • Verbalizing game
    • Ability to understand and perform duties in accordance with:
      • Hollywood Casino Aurora Core Values
      • Departmental, property and company policies and standards
      • Illinois Gaming Board requirements
      • Sarbanes-Oxley
      • Internal Controls
    • Assisting guests in learning games
    • Attending departmental and company meetings as required

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    • Must be 21 years of age
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Ability to read, write, comprehend and speak English
    • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations, including calculating discounts, interest, commissions and apply to practical situations
    • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
    • Physical mobility with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 10 lbs
