    An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

    Your daily responsibilities include

    • Manage the ICIMS system to include the application process and system training.
    • Manage the panel interview process.
    • Foster, promote, and maintain positive relationship with union leadership and membership.
    • Gather and compile information and review with HR Manager to determine appropriate course of action. This information will be used for coaching and counseling, grievances, investigations and unemployment hearings.
    • Manage the unemployment process as it relates to initial filings and fact finding.
    • Analyze various sources of feedback including exit surveys, cast member complaints, and grievances to identify opportunities to improve engagement and present recommendations to management
    • Assist and support major initiatives, including but not limited to: policy and practice review, leader and cast member training, and labor education.
    • Conduct Cast Member new hire orientation to include orientation for the LEC.
    • Responsible for coordination of cast member programs and events including but not limited to: planning, creating any related committees, monitoring appropriate allocation of resources, support and communication of above mentioned events.
    • Ensure property wide HR visibility by being present on the casino floor and in cast member only areas and attending pre-shift meetings.
    • Support and assist other Human Resources functional areas.
    • Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position’s job description, where, in the Company’s judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.
    • Provide positive communication and use Red Carpet Training skills with every patron and co-worker.
    • Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.

    To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

    • Must be 21 years of age
    • Read, write legibly, understand and speak English
    • Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights
    • Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
    • Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
    • Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
    • Cast Member is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The Cast Member is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
    • The Cast Member must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

    Bachelor’s Degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Ability to interact with all levels of management and employees in a consulting/counseling role.  Ability to handle high level of confidentiality while exercising sound judgment and discretion is essential. Proficiency in basic computer skills a must.  This position will be an entry level HR Professional, they will be responsible for learning about governmental compliance requirements and employment and labor laws, i.e., HIPAA, ADA, FMLA, Title VII, and other related state and federal laws.  They will also be in a learning role specific to working with collective bargaining agreements including interpretation and application.  Experience working in a Human Resources function is preferred.
