Your daily responsibilities include

An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

Support and assist the Director of Sales and Sales Manager(s) with sales solicitation efforts both inside and outside of the office, as well as other administrative duties on a daily basis

  • Build, maintain and manage group master accounts and room blocks in LMS, as well as ensure LMS data is corresponding with what is reflected in Delphi
  • Manage group billing (includes deposits, payments both pre and post)
  • Books, coordinates and manages all aspects of bus and tour groups, both day trips and overnight groups
  • Book all in-house events and coordinate event details, including creating the BEOS
  • Solicit local corporate accounts and write agreements for preferred rates at the hotel
  • Maintain group folders, ensure signed documents are accounted for in all files and all files are audit compliant
  • Enter all requisitions into Stratton Warren (SWS) for the department


To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

To be successful in this positon it will require the following skill set:

  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • College degree preferred or a minimum of 3 years working experience in hotel sales or hotel front office
  • Attention to detail and exceptional problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of operating personal computer including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and standard office equipment
  • Knowledge of Stratton Warren, LMS, and Delphi is greatly beneficial
  • Excellent organizational skills and multi tasking abilities
  • Able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently
  • Function successfully in a fast paced high volume environment with demanding deadlines
  • Team and production oriented
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Capable of adapting to changing circumstances on a daily basis
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, twist and grip items as necessary’
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, if required for business needs
