Your daily responsibilities include

  • Responsible for the consultation, delivery and reporting of digital and traditional campaigns and promotions for an assigned region of properties within the Company.
  • Coordinates with Creative Services Team, and Penn’s creative, traditional, and digital media agency partners.
  • Acts as the liaison between the property Marketing heads, the centralized Creative Services team, and external creative and media agencies, to manage and deliver traditional and digital marketing campaigns and promotions for the assigned region’s properties.
  • Communicates business objectives, strategy, asset delivery and content approvals between internal departments and external partners for work associated with the assigned region to ensure all projects launch as planned, and new programs are meeting business objectives.
  • Collaborates with the property Marketing heads in assigned region as the print and digital subject matter expert.
  • Creates/and manages marketing job requests for assigned region.
  • Develops briefs/open jobs to communicate project objectives and requirements for internal and external production staff and track in Penn’s project management system.
  • Consults with properties on all requests from casino teams to ensure jobs are clear before they are assigned to agencies and studio team.
  • Participates with internal partners in developing digital and print strategies for assigned region and the Company. Manages all jobs with external agencies for the assigned region.
  • Reviews proofs for all higher complexity jobs within assigned region.
  • Manages website roll-outs and launches for properties within assigned region.
  • Leads weekly stand-up meetings in partnership with peers to organize, prioritize, and assign tasks to the Creative Services team.
  • Creates and distributes a weekly status report to internal and external teams on the status of all jobs for each location in the region.
  • Collaborates and partners with property Marketing heads, Creative Services team, and/or external creative/media agencies to prioritize weekly work/assign tasks via the project management system to appropriate resources they relate to SLA (service level agreements) guidelines and goals.
  • Collaborates with the Social Media Buyer on in-house regional social media buys, review/approve optimization recommendations, and incorporate the social analytics into a 360 campaign/promotion report.
  • Collaborates with the Web and Search Analyst and assigned properties within region to implement organic recommendations, review/approve paid ad word recommendations, incorporate performance metrics provided by SEO/SEM specialist into a 360 campaign/promotion report.
  • Collaborates with the Websites Content Editor on content strategy and hierarchy and assigned properties within the region to implement new media landing pages as needed to be incorporated on the websites.
  • Works directly with Penn’s external creative and media buying agencies to give direction, hand-off assets, and review/provide feedback on plans for media buys after review/approval with the Property Marketing VP’s.
  • Responsible for assisting in the development and distribution of a 360 digital and print report at campaign and/or promotion completion to demonstrate ROI, and include recommendations on further optimization.
  • Supports the property Marketing heads in designated region during quarterly and yearly planning processes by sharing reports and making optimization or strategic change recommendations backed by analytics from prior 360 performance reports.
  • Assists other Regional Account Managers as needed.
  • Tracks and manages digital and traditional marketing spend among all traditional and digital channels.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in Marketing, Digital Marketing or related field from four-year college or university; or five to eight years progressive experience at an in-house marketing department or digital agency; or equivalent combination of experience and education. Leadership experience required. 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point). Knowledge of JIRA and In Motion a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in prioritization or schedules of items in the work queue as necessary.
  • Must have strong problem solving, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Must have excellent project and time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Strong client interface and presentation skills preferred.
  • Must have the ability to drive results and be proactive when working on tasks.
  • Must be detailed oriented. 
  • Must have strong problem solving, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Must have firm understanding and experience with web, email, social media, and online advertising analytics.
  • Familiarity with current and emerging digital and print marketing trends.
  • Experience with online and print advertising, IAB standards, responsive website, email, and social best practices, ADA compliance regulations, optimization for mobile devices.
  • Must have ability to think critically and creatively.
