An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Observe all casino operations via surveillance cameras:  watch all cash counting in count rooms, and all cash transactions in cages and on gaming layers in casino; tape any cheating infractions.
  • Review tapes on gaming in cases of player/dealer disputes.
  • Complete daily activity report:  note and pertinent facts (e.g., large cash outs, fills, credits) and/or incidents.
  • Monitor recording equipment: change tapes, check equipment operation and time/date generators.
  • Notify appropriate person when infractions, cheating, etc. are observed (e.g., inform pit bosses of procedure infraction).
  • Observe and log any infractions, cheating, etc.  (Notify surveillance supervisor)
  • Maintain cleanliness of room and equipment.
  • Maintain familiarity with Indiana Gaming Commission, Corporate and Departmental regulations, and publications
  • Observe slot drops, table drops, kiosk fills, and other required observations regulated by the Indiana Gaming Commission.
  • At the start of each shift perform an Equipment Check.
  • Makes appropriate entries in D.A.R.
  • Receives periodic on-the-job training from Supervisor.
  • Any unusual occurrences shall be made the subject of an Incident Report (I.R.).  The subject of any I.R. will be part of a D.A.R.
  • Performs other surveillance/security duties.
  • Employees may be required to perform duties outside of their normal job description where, in the Company's judgment, it is necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity or improved guest service.
  • Provide positive communication and use Red Carpet Training skills with every patron and co-worker.
  • Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.
  • Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position’s job description, where, in the Company’s judgment, those duties are necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or guest service.

 

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Read, write legibly, understand and speak English
  • Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights
  • Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment
  • Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or on to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
  • Cast Member is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The Cast Member is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
