Your daily responsibilities include

This position is responsible for consistently providing excellent guest service, using sound judgment, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to multi-task in Hotel Operations, including, but not limited to Hotel Front Desk, Retail Gift Shop, RV Park, and Reservations.


  • Extends warm, professional greetings to guests and assigns rooms in a manner that consistently demonstrates Marquee Service skills.
  • Issues room keys and provides clear escort instructions to Bell Staff.
  • Keeps records of room availability and guests’ accounts.
  • Computes bill, collects payment, and makes change for guests.
  • Makes and confirms reservations.
  • Enters correct and accurate information into the AS400, LMS, Micros and other computer systems.
  • Answers phones in professional and courteous manner at all times.
  • Communicates with customers about upcoming events, preferences, information about our property and directs calls to the appropriate destination.
  • Responds to queries, solves and or refers problems to the correct persons following through for the guest in a professional manner at all times.
  • Develops and maintains positive, interactive relationships with guests, building loyalty and increased frequency with VIP guests by providing excellent guest service.
  • Reviews and determines guests comp value based upon gaming performance.
  • Demonstrates thorough, up-to-date knowledge of, and clearly communicates to guest’s information on player’s card, events, restaurants, hotel, gift shop, golf course and other property amenities.
  • Greets, registers, assign rooms and issues room keys to guests.
  • Computes bill, collects payment, and posts charges for room, food, liquor, movies to ledger.
  • Obtains and confirms hotel accommodations for guests in an efficient and accurate manner.
  • Reviews expected arrivals to determine guest requests for room types and amenities.
  • Greets, assists and accurately computes and records retail purchase transactions in the Gift Shop.
  • Ensures advance room service requests are issued and delivered.
  • Books and coordinates all reservation requests for rooms, food, limo, show tickets or other such amenities.
  • Assists Fairbanks in comp issues and decisions.
  • Assists hosts with customer service in all aspects of comping and arrangements.
  • Assists Guest Services Supervisor/Manager with day to day operations and/or projects when needed.
  • Keeps inventory shelves supplied with inventory.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of the gift shop, including work station.
  • Assists with the ‘pre’ and ‘post’ Gift Shop inventory process.
  • Makes change, cashes checks and issues receipts or tickets to retail customers.
  • Gives cash refunds or issues credit memoranda to customers for returned retail merchandise.
  • Quotes price and describes features of items for which money is received.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set



Education and/or Experience                   

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Customer service experience over the phone and face to face contact with guests.
