Don't just work, work happy!

Your daily responsibilities include

  • Wait on customer. Serve drinks, water, coffee, and tea to customers at appropriate times.  Refill beverages as needed.
  • Assist with picking up dirty dishes, silverware, and glassware during and after meals and deliver to assigned dish washing area in kitchen.
  • Pick up all clean dishes, glassware, and silverware from area and distribute to each service location.  Make sure there is always sufficient ware available.
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned station: bus tables, wipe tables and chairs, pick up trash, clean ashtrays, etc.
  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness of buffet and kitchen as required: vacuum, sweep and mop, pick up trash, etc.
  • Complete opening, running, and closing side duties completely.
  • Keep ice stations filled, silverware polished and rolled, and glasses and dishes stocked.
  • Prepare tables for next guest.  Remove any dirty dishes, silverware and napkins.
  • Stock/restock supplies (e.g., cups, glasses, silverware, coffee, napkins, etc.) at service station.
  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness/appearance of buffet as needed.
  • Employees may be required to perform duties outside of their normal job description where, in the company’s judgment, it is necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity or improved guest service.

To be successful in this position it will require the following skill set

  • High school diploma, GED or comparable experience
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Prior customer service in a fast paced environment preferred
  • Read, write, speak and understand English
  • Excellent customer service/communication skills
  • Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
  • Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
  • Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations
  • Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
  • Able to work at a fast pace in an often crowded/noisy environment
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. (Cash drawer, cash register/POS supplies, tables and chairs)
  • Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items (i.e., pens, money, credit cards), bend, stoop and twist while handling financial transactions;  stand and walk for up to four hours; able to use hand motions when receiving payment and giving change, when using the cash register/POS system and when cleaning and wiping cashier areas
  • Must be able to tolerate industry standard chemicals used for cleaning and sanitizing
  • Able to work in constricting areas
  • Must be able to maintain a neat and professional appearance and uphold the company appearance standard.
