The Systems Integration Analyst is responsible for integrating new services (applications and infrastructure) into the organization’s portfolio of internal systems and existing cloud services. The role collaborates with corporate lead systems integration analysts to ensure good integration patterns, as well as industry standards, are followed. This role also guides users in formulating requirements and analyzes proposals.

Your daily responsibilities include

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

 

  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. 
  • Develops the integration of application and infrastructure services into existing IT systems.
  • Evaluates new integration technologies and service offerings by coordinating with technology brokers. Makes recommendations for improvements and changes as needed.
  • Coordinates with technical leads to ensure new services align to roadmaps and to understand the impact on the organization’s information architecture. Makes recommendations for improvements and changes as needed.
  • Maintains and modifies complex systems and/or designs and develops integrated subsystems. Guides users in formulating requirements; analyzes resulting user proposals and conducts feasibility studies.
  • Recommends optimum approach, advises on alternatives and on the implications of new or revised data processing systems.
  • Ensures appropriate integration patterns and industry standards are followed.
  • Collaborates with external providers to resolve any issues in the functionality and interoperability of new applications, infrastructure, and other services with existing IT systems, both on premise and cloud.
  • Responsible for understanding business requirements and working with business analysts to ensure that integration activities, enhance business processes, or to minimize any negative impact.
  • Responsible for meeting all assigned deadlines.
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. /B.S.) in computer technology or related field from four-year college or university; one to three years of systems integration experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to collaborate and work within a team-oriented environment.
  • Must have experience with .NET/Java or other object oriented language.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to accurately prioritize, organize, and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must have experience with SQL Server or other database experience.
  • Ability to meet all deadlines.
  • Understanding of NoSQL Databases preferred (MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
  • Must have understanding of Web Services (SOAP/REST/OData) and Web Technologies (HTTP, FTP, etc.). NoSQL Databases preferred (MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript preferred.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES  

This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

 

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
